Not medical advice

Nothing on this site is a recommendation to diagnose, treat or manage any individual patient. Clinical decisions should be based on the full publications, current guidelines, and the circumstances of each patient.

Summaries of abstracts

Each Brief is based on the published abstract, not the full article. Abstracts leave out details, limitations and results that may matter. Always read the original article before relying on a finding; every Brief links to it.

How Briefs are made

Briefs are composed with the help of AI models from the abstract, then checked automatically: every number shown must appear in the abstract, and results must be tied to the right groups. Samples are audited by the editor. Featured studies are selected and reviewed by the editor. Despite these checks, errors can occur. See Methods & quality for how Briefs are made and tested, and please report an error if you find one.

No endorsement

Including a study does not mean CurrentCardio endorses its methods, conclusions or any product it studies. CurrentCardio is independent and receives no funding from pharmaceutical or device companies.
