Absolute coronary blood flow across different endotypes of angina with non-obstructive coronary arteries (ANOCA)
Authors' conclusion
In our study, Qmax and Rμ,hyper were associated with a positive CFT. Qmax was associated with the presence of microvascular dysfunction but not with a positive acetylcholine test.
Study context
- Population
- Patients with angina with non-obstructive coronary arteries (ANOCA) undergoing clinically indicated coronary function testing (CFT) incl. Acetylcholine (ACh) provocation and bolus and continuous thermodilution120 included in analysis
- Participants
- 222 patients
- Comparison
- Qmax and Rμ,hyper across ANOCA endotypes
- CFT-n = 32reference
- Coronary microvascular dysfunction (CMD)+n = 62
- ACh+n = 63
- Outcome
- Hyperaemic absolute coronary flow (Qmax) and absolute microvascular resistance (Rμ,hyper) across ANOCA endotypes
Performance
As reported in the abstract
Qmax
CMD+ vs CMD-: P = 0.04 · ACh+ vs ACh-: P = 0.86
