Authors' conclusion

TTVA is associated with a significant and sustained reduction of TR for more than 1 year. Additionally, patients demonstrated distinct positive cardiac remodeling and functional improvement.

Study context

Population
Consecutive patients undergoing transcatheter tricuspid valve annuloplasty (TTVA) (Cardioband) for severe tricuspid regurgitation (TR), 2019–2023
Participants
156 patients
Exposure
Follow-up vs baseline after TTVA
Outcome
Long-term efficacy and right heart remodeling (right atrial and RV parameters, NYHA class)
Follow-up
Median 435 days
