Durability of output-dependent QRS transition and left bundle branch capture in left bundle branch area pacing

Heart RhythmPublished Prospective cohort study

Authors' conclusion

Output-dependent QRS transitions were highly reproducible after implantation. Furthermore, LBB thresholds remained stable in most cases during the first postoperative year.

Study context

Population
Patients with successful left bundle branch area pacing (LBBAP) available for 1-year follow-up
Participants
129 patients
Exposure
QRS transition on POD-0 vs No QRS transition on POD-0
  • QRS transition on POD-0n = 73
  • No QRS transition on POD-0n = 56
Outcome
Presence of output-dependent QRS transition and capture thresholds of the LBB and LV septal myocardium
Follow-up
Immediately and up to 1 year after LBBAP
Methodological detailsThreshold testing on POD-0, POD-3, POD-180 and POD-360
  • Threshold testing on POD-0, POD-3, POD-180 and POD-360
