Recommendations

As issued by the authors

  1. Flexible three-model pathway for ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) care: fibrinolysis model, pharmaco-invasive strategy model and primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) model, tailored to local circumstances

  2. Addresses delayed access to primary PCI, reperfusion in cardiogenic shock with expected delayed PCI, fibrinolysis at high bleeding risk, and absence of fibrin-specific fibrinolytics, catheterization labs or any reperfusion therapy

  3. Continuous improvement, patient education and secondary prevention strategies
